Marks on Technique

Pieces of paper, maybe newspaper or old books together with some spots of colour – acrylic, tempera, watercolour and oil – put on canvas in an act of ‘action painting’, merge to become the subject from which I draw out the shape through signs made with charcoal, sometimes made more plastic using Japanese ink.
